For compensation, the site looks at the median percentile for all salaries entered for a company and compares that to the rest of the companies in the database. For benefits, Built In focuses on the perks and incentives that are most important to its core audience, which is comprised largely of job seekers who are hoping to land their dream job within the tech industry.
